29th July 2011 sees the launch of the latest version of ITIL. It has been stressed that this is not a new version (it's not v4 or even v3.1!). Its just an update and the publications will carry a '2011 Edition' flash to identify this new version. So what does the 2011 update do?

• Reviews the Service Strategy publication
• Resolves any errors or inconsistencies
• Addresses issues raised in the Change Control Log
• Implements changes to make ITIL easier to teach
