Cisco selects Innovise ESM Training to springboard a new set of certifications for the Service Operations Market
Cisco have created a new stream of certifications to address the challenges faced within the Service Provider community. As a result of the growth in subscribers and rich media services the Service Provider industry are rapidly expanding and evolving their networks. This has created a requirement for Service Providers to adapt, evolve and expand their operations network expertise to transform and manage these IP Next Generation Networks.
The new SP Operations Certifications provide both a curriculum and the means of validating the expertise needed to meet the challenges.
The certifications and supporting education programme will focus on the growing demand for support engineers that are capable of monitoring, maintaining and troubleshooting infrastructure within the Service Provider market. The new Cisco certification track develops the ability to manage large, complex service provider networks and certify at the Associate, Professional and Expert level.
The five courses align to the new CCNA and CCNP SP Operations certifications, covering incident (event), fault, configuration, change, and performance management procedures, along with network management and ticketing tools.
The five courses are:
- Supporting Cisco Service Provider IP NGN Operations (SSPO)
- Operational Foundations for Cisco Service Provider Core Networks (OFCN)
- Maintaining Cisco Service Provider Quality of Service (MSPQS)
- Maintaining Cisco Service Provider Routing Protocols (MSPRP)
- Maintaining Cisco Service Provider VPNs and MPLS Networks (MSPVM)
