In response to demand within Cisco for the need for better awareness and understanding of Cisco Data Centre Virtualisation Services, Innovise ESM Training has developed a 2x1 day Workshop for Account Managers, Sales Engineers and Field Engineers.

This unique course provides a detailed understanding of the current VMware virtual server switching concepts exploited at the Cisco Data Centre Edge by the Cisco Nexus 1000v and also examines emerging virtual service features and concepts supported by the Nexus 1000v product family and explains how they integrate into a Cisco Data Centre.

After completing this course, students should be able to: explain the concepts and principles employed by the Cisco 1000v within an ESX Server, understand the advantages of using the Nexus 1010 and describe the benefits of Virtual Firewalling and WAN Acceleration techniques.
